Prayer of the dayJesus who is pleased with Truth, You did not make the light of Your Resurrection shine first for the clever, but showed it to the simple women and the Apostles. Grant that we may be enlightened by Your Light which revealed Your hidden mysteries to the simple. May we believe in Your Resurrection with the faith of Your Apostles. By our lives, may we bear witness to it as they did, and so be made worthy to share in Your Kingdom.
