Prayer of the dayJesus under whose wings the mortals take refuge, You are the sacrifice, which pleased God the Father and which redeemed us. You nourished us, brought us salvation, gave us the pledge of a glorious resurrection and promised us eternal life. O our great High Priest, grant that we may enjoy the fruits of Your sacrifice and bury our old man, that the new man may live in You.
