Prayer of the dayJesus who put a new song - song of praise to God - in our mouth, we adore You who came down from heaven, assumed our humanity, died on the Cross for our redemption, descended from the Cross to the tomb, and came out of it to bring life to us. On this Sunday of Your Resurrection and Ascension, grant to Your Churches the faith of the holy women, but not their fright; the faith of the apostles, but not their fear; and the faith of our father Mar Toma Sliha, that our faith may be proclaimed by our deeds. May our deeds witness to You and lead us to life in Your Kingdom.
