Prayer of the dayJesus who is glorified and praised in heaven, You ascended into the heights and yet did not abandon us. You remain with us in the great Sacrament of Your love, and You have promised to remain with us until the end of the world. Give us then the gift of these two mysterious presences. Grant that by faith we may see You in them. By faith we see You enthroned on Your holy altar. May we see You face to face in heaven, where You are seated at the right hand of the Father.
