Prayer of the dayJesus the most Authentic Teacher, grant us that with true faith and sincere love we may celebrate the memory of Mar Aprem, great among our East Syriac fathers. For love of You, he renounced the world and adorned the Churches with his lofty teaching and his noble way of life. May we walk in his footsteps, learning still of You from his pure, simple, but highly theological hymns, and glorify You together with him.

Mystery of the Holy Spirit - He works and fills the creation, the Prophets, Judges, Kings, Virgin Mary, John the Baptist, Jesus, Shlihe (Apostles), Church and every faithful - By His Power of the Church sprouts and grows in Jesus and the Shlihe, the foundation.

Age of the Church

Exactly as Jesus was formed in Virgin Mary so too the Church in this world by the Power of the Holy Spirit - those who are led by the Spirit must always be vigilant to root out at the very outset all selfish and individualistic likes and dislikes which topple down our faithfulness to the Church.
