Preparing for Dukrana: Day 3
Mar Irenaeus (b. 130AD-d. 202AD) was a great Biblical theologian who, in the theological confusion of the second century, clarified a number of issues relating to the understanding of the church about the gospel. Irenaeus is thought to have been born a Greek from Polycarp's hometown of Smyrna in Asia Minor, now İzmir, Turkey. Irenaeus is recognized as a saint by both the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. Click to read the Biblical reflections of the day, prepared by Fr. Paul Kalluveettil, CMI.
