Prayer of the dayJesus in whom alone we can find rest, on this day of the descent of the Paraclete, the Comforter, grant us faultless justice. Having received His holy gifts, may we cast off the old man completely. Transform us, O Lord, into pure dwelling-places for Your Divinity, help us to advance in good deeds throughout our lives and carry Your Name before all with pride. As the members of Your Body, may we help each other to grow in holiness by the sanctifying power of Your Holy Spirit.
