1. According to our tradition, the liturgical day starts at 6PM. That means if you are praying on a Monday evening, after 6PM, you should use the prayers of Tuesday, not Monday. Read more about divine praises.

2. Another thing to keep in mind is the liturgical season. Visit our Calendar to find current liturgical season.

3. We illustrate here how to use this page for your prayers. Imagine that this is Pallikoodasha kkalam, Qudas-Edta, fourth week.

Now go to the start page of RAMSHA (Page No.1 of the liturgical prayers). Karmikan should be head of the family, the eldest male.

4. In page no. 2, you need to use the Sankeerthanam correspoding to the day. For this, you go to page No. 538, where you will see Chovva Ramsha at the bottom of the page. The Sankeerathanam to be used on 4th Chovva of Palli Qoodasha Kkalam is written there: it is in 48th Sankeerathanam, page 656. Just recite the stansas of Sankeerthanagal in two groups.

5. There is a Dhooparpana ganam in page 3. The tune to be used can be heard from the address below:

Listen song no. 12.

6. Now when you reach the page 4, you can see Oneesa Dak'dam. This prayer should be the one corresponding to the day. Go to 539. Tune of the song is again in the page below:

Listen song no. 2.

7. After Oneesa Dak'dam, come back to page no. 4 and move on with Slosa.

8. Now in page no. 7, you will Oneesa D'vassar. Now go to page 539. Just after Oneesa Dakk'dam, there is Oneesa D'vassar. The tune to be used is song no. 3.

9. After Oneesa D'vassar go to page no. 7. Read gospel. Corresponding gospel can be found from the page below:

10. In the middle of the page 11, you will see Oneesa D'Ramsha/D'Vasalikke, Slosa, and Aasvaasa. For this goto page 540. Tune to be used for Oneesa D'Ramsha/D'Vasalikke can be heard from song. no. 1.

Continue prayers Slosa, and Aasvaasa in pages 541 and 542.

11. After Aasvaasa, go back to page 11. Prayers given in pages 11 and 12 in square brackets [ ] are not mandatory. You can skip this if you want.

13. Finally prayers care concluded in page 13.

If it is new to you, you may find it difficult in the beginning, but it is a matter of getting used to it. All tunes used are not new, they are used in one or other prayers. If you experience any difficulties, please write to us on info 'at' nasranifoundation 'dot' org
